How it works
Three taps to send your location
1. Tap “Share my location by text”Your phone will ask for permission. Tap Allow.
2. We make a Google Maps linkYour coordinates become a standard Google Maps link we can open.
3. Your text message opensIt's addressed to (615) 910-8591 with your map link filled in. Check it and press Send.
Location blocked? On iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Safari Websites (or your browser) → While Using. On Android: tap the lock icon next to the web address → Permissions → Location → Allow. Or just call and describe a nearby landmark, exit or cross street.

Location sharing questions
Do you store or track my location?
No. The location is read by your own browser after you give permission, and it's shown only to you. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else unless you choose to copy, text or share the link.
Why isn't it working?
Make sure Location Services/GPS is on, that your browser is allowed to use your location, and that you're viewing the secure (https://) version of this site. Being under open sky helps accuracy.
Do I need to install an app?
No. It works in your phone's normal web browser, including Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android.
